About Us | Horses | Our Dogs | Memorials | Photo Album | Em@il Eric and I met online in a chat program called mIRC (Internet Relay chat program) in August 1996. We chatted online for almost a year before we met in person. Eric saved his hard earned money and bought a plane ticket and flew to California. I still remember standing at the airport waiting for him to get off the plane and my Dad was pointing to every 80 year old man saying "Is that him?!" Eric and I 1997 - Our first meeting in person. He came back at Christmas time 1997 I moved to Alabama on Memorial weekend, 1999. Within two weeks I had a job grooming and moved into an apartment by myself 2 months later. It was hard being over 2000 miles from everything I knew, living on my own for the first time. I had a lot of tough years ahead of me. In March 2000 I bought a Shih Tzu puppy and named him Milo.. he kept me company in my loney apartment :) After almost 4 years in an apartment I bought a house, and two months later Eric and I got married (October 18,2003). We were lucky enough to be married by Eric's Father. And here we are 6 years later at my brother's wedding Nov 14th, 2009.
